The Simple Bible Database is essentially a simple on-line concordance of the Holy Bible. To use it, type the desired word or phrase and select the Submit Request button. To clear the text entry field, select the Clear Request button. When submitting your search request, DO NOT USE the Carriage Return or Enter key since this will not submit your search request. Searches are NOT case sensitive.
To search by the book, use the abbreviations provided below. To search by book and chapter, search by book abbreviation and chapter number, e.g., Gen 1. To search by book, chapter and verse, use the following format, Jhn 1:1.
The output is in simple text format with book abbreviation, chapter, verse, and an entire biblical verse on each line. You can save your search to a text file with your browser for further study and manipulation. Simple text can be imported easily into any word processor as well.
