The Women of St. Philip’s support our church community in many ways, such as providing hospitality for special events, sending cheerful greetings to shut-ins, and raising funds for special projects, both within St Philip's and elsewhere.
A Sisterhood serving Christ through serving others. The Women of St. Philip’s is our chapter of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Women of North America (AOCWNA). AOCWNA is a national organization whose purposes are
- to develop among women throughout the Antiochian Archdiocese a spirit of Christian leadership, awareness and commitment as taught in the Holy Orthodox Church,
- to foster among women throughout the Antiochian Archdiocese a genuine expression of love and service through works of charity, and
- to instill among women throughout the Antiochian Archdiocese and the community at large a sense of fellowship and a deeper understanding of the heritage and traditions of the Antiochian Archdiocese and the Orthodox Church.
Every woman who is a member of an Antiochian Orthodox Church is
de facto a member of AOCWNA. For more information about Antiochian Women, see the video below or visit

The Women of St. Philip’s invite all the women of St. Philip’s to participate in their ministry. Meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month (September through June), during Coffee Hour. Even if you can't come to the meetings, we value your input and participation in other ways.
